Having just become computer literate (still fledgling), I thought I would see if anyone was out there. back there. now and then. just curious.

California has been home for some 30 years now, but some mornings I still wake up with that crispness.

anybody out there?

out there

Depends what you mean by out there.

I sure feel at home in Putney, though I live mostly in Portsmouth NH.

But out there in terms of values? You bet.

i haven't been coming to this site for awhile since I never seem to know anyone that's posting.

Did we go to the same school as all these other people?

Oh, I remember..... we didn't go to school all that often.

Miss you always...enjoyed talking to you, was it a year ago?

Do you ever come back east. It's very "crisp" right now.

We come to Southern California, Santa Barbara, you remember, every couple of years in the summer.

Where are you exactly?

where i am, exactly.....

originally posted by bruce bramson on 25 February 2005 at 15:25:59

today, Apache Junction public library, just east of Phoenix. yesterday, Devore, California, just north of San Bernardino. monday next, Tomales, California, 51 miles north of the Golden Gate, on the coast, my home.

the street address is 27055 HWY 1. Can you believe that? a tiny little house in the middle of a tiny little town (pop 371) on HWY ONE on the edge of the continent.

not too shabby for a kid from New York City, eh?....

thanks for the e-mail info - i'm still not too swift finding my way around in cyberspace. or elsewhere, for that matter.

the phone is still best for me. 800-906-6459. then i can call back.

beyond all that, recent conversations with peter nelson, jay and peter foraki.

and then for some reason, i stumbled on this site. really great to see a few names that flood the mind.

how goes the law?

love ya.

bb

where you are exactly

it's always good to hear from you. And a flood of memories over here too.

How are Jay and Peter Nelson?

The law goes...on. I'm working for a sole practitioner nearby and doing all her real estate closings, which this time of year, doesn't amount to much.

Let me know when a good time to call is as I have a plan where I don't pay for long distance ever. No point in you calling me back and paying for it.

I might be in Santa Barbara end of June though the 4th.

Perhaps in your travels we could connect.

I would love to meet your family and have you meet mine. Husband Tom and son Jack age 15.

Yes, I certainly remember you.

People seem to forget me, but I remember your concert efforts, remember the Tim Hardin disaster?

I've been in Seattle for the past 25 years.

sculpture surprise

originally posted by gregory west on 17 February 2005 at 09:50:05

hi Bruce!

one of my often told stories is when we were having a mid-term sculpture review in the sculpture studio and Chuck Ginniver was on a tirade because no one was doing much work.

He was going on and on about how he would come to the studio and he hardly ever saw this person or that person.

And then he said "that Bruce i haven't seen him in the studio once" at which point you jumped out of a hiding place from a garbage can as your piece.

I still laugh my ass off over that one.

hope you are still surprising people
hugs
gregory
