Anyone in touch with arty guy Rob Muller who I knew briefly as a couch monster (sorry, dude- those were desparate times...) at his place in Putney circa summer '78?

I brought his name up at book signing in NYC by a noted West Coast author, who assured me that Rob is still around.

Chris,

I don't remember Rob Muller, at least by name. Did he ever hang out with us at Blood Farm or the box? Where did he live?

I'm currently low on long term memory storage space.

Rob Muller / Blood Farm and Frank Tardif

Nick:

Yes, he lived at Blood Farm during it's original heyday, as did Karen Wise, Brad McCartin, Scott Henry, Bob Spollen, and a bunch of others including yers trewly. I haven't the foggiest where he ended up, though he's only one of a bunch of Putney/Windham folks I'd love to track down.

Nick Csergoe is another one.

P.S. Frank Tardif was best mam at my wedding last Nov. And yes, he did pour drinks for a while?

Hi Lachlan,

Last I heard of Nick Csergoe, he was driving a school bus in New Jersey. He had visited a mutual friend of ours in Washington, DC just before Teresa and I moved here.

I'm heading out to Portland, OR this Sunday for Eric Lee's wedding (I just got back from Scotland 3 days ago, I feel terminal jet lag coming on).

Congrats on your nuptuals.

ONYERB
cheers,
nick

Nick:

Hope you've fully recovered from UK jet lag (Scotland's a very cool place - spent some time there a few years back, while visitng and playing in Liverpool).

How long ago was Nick driving school bus? Any idea where?

Hope all's well with you.

PS: Will you be at the reunion, this August?

L.

It was the early '80s when we (Teresa, the missus) and I moved down to Washington DC that I heard of Nick's whereabouts.

Scotland was beautiful, we hung out in the west (Ft. William, Mallaig, Glen Etive) and north west Highlands, Ullapool is beautiful, it doesn't get dark there in late June (57.89 N. lat.).

I'm thinking of hitting up the reunion.

I just got back from Eric Lee's wedding in Portland Oregon. He hasn't changed a bit since his Putney days and Portland is like Brattleboro without the mills (and seasons) but all the hippies.

Yeah I'm still alive,

A-bomb, got the message from noted west coast author, he also mentioned you'd emailed his site a few years ago mentioning me...got a chuckle out of that.

He's my bro-in-law as I guess you gathered, I don't do tickets tho..

What are you up to these days?

take care.
Rob

PS Great to hear from Lachlan!
I was at Blood Farm from fall of '71 thru spring summer of '72, was one of the original three that rented the place after the Bloods moved out, quite a place it was.

Blood Farm/Lachlan

Hey Lachlan,

tried emailing you at length at your address posted on Alumni site, did you get it?

Moved to Northern California after Putney in 78 or so, worked on fishing boats 300 miles offshore in Eureka/ Arcata area of coast, lived out there four years.

Married a girl from San Rafael, California 23 years ago, dragged her kicking and screaming back here, she still threatens to decamp and head back to god's country.......maybe someday we'll both head back.

Living in CT now, three daughters all grown [mostly], all musicians, all smarter than me [easy enough] and better looking.

2 halfway thru college [twins], one still in high school.
one in all girl rock band, they sound pretty good, who knows..

Time to sit on my front porch in a rocking chair with a shotgun and see what the world brings down the pike.

Running an art shop/gallery in New Haven for the past 23 years, good gig all the way around.

have run into several folks who remember you from this area.

Ended up with all of Frank's paintings. Whatever happened to Tom Sailors paintings and sculptures?
I miss that guy...

Whatever happened to Brad McCartin? I tried googling him once, but nothing came up. I would love to find him and see what he's up to.

be well, and get in touch,
Rob
