Or rather, I could never remember your name. Or even closer, I was too lazy to remember it. Or I never learned how to remember it. Or worse yet, maybe i figured it wasn't worth remembering. Cruel? Yes, and stupid. Then and now.

Now because the name doesn't trigger the face. Then because I was often a pompous jerk.....Just to set the record straight, I am flooded with nameless faces, many of whom were quite dear to me back then....I am so grateful for this site - forgive me if I treat it like a chat room.

Bruce and Jeff, and SUBSAC & Roomful of Blues

originally posted by David Hughes,-'74 on 21 June 2005 at 18:56:29

Oh yes, the year was 1973 thru 1974, and the bands flowed along with all the kegs at SUBSAC bldg. and we got the dome back up for MayDay. We had a lot of fun then, and with C.

Studies in the 3rd floor. Great Art show openings, and other gigs. Won't forget Bonnie Raitt still sang even with Pluerisy.

Cruising in Jeff's Ford convertible to pick up kegs at the Putney Store.. We remember you..........

Won't remember but...

Hey Bruce,

Rafe told me you are out there & I'm sure you won't remember me but I remember you. I was at Windham from 73-76, worked the cafeteria crew, hung out at Shaman's, tight friends with Terry Knochel & Dana Mordini, Art Major, 5 ft, blond, etc. Dated Ben Thirkield etc. Worked the Green Room occasion.

Just wanted to say "Hi".

Never Forget what you can't remember

originally posted by Neil Lena Friedman on 23 August 2005 at 16:59:24

Dear Bruce B.

I'll never forget one of my earliest memories of Windham.

I was driving up to campus on a september morning(?) It had rained earlier the sky was still gray and water was pouring down out from the rain pipe of the General Store and who should I see with my little eye but bruce B soap in hand bathing himself smack in the middle of Putney!

Hey Bruce, speaking for one of those nameless forgotten faces from the past I still remember through the shadow and fog.

You won't even remember my name but I'll put it in anyway.

You were special to so many.

Love and Peace

Neil Friedman 67-70

Are you still booking bands?

originally posted by Skipper on 15 September 2005 at 11:17:16

Bruce: A little theatre here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland called the Avalon is breaking into the market that you created so well for Windham/Putney. Therefore, my question to you would be: Are you still booking bands?
